What your team gains

  1. 01Keep sensitive Amazon access inside the environment you govern.
  2. 02Fit ClairInsights into your existing security and operating standards.
  3. 03Know exactly what your team controls and where ClairInsights supports you.

Stay in control of your Amazon data

A Self-hosted license runs ClairInsights in your AWS account. Amazon credentials, source deliveries, warehouse connections, logs, and retention policies can remain within the environment your enterprise already governs.

The deployment fits your existing identities, encryption keys, storage, network boundaries, backups, alerts, and operator access. Your security and platform teams keep the control they need without building the Amazon data product from scratch.

Use the protections your enterprise already trusts

Amazon refresh tokens are protected with AWS KMS, application and database credentials use AWS Secrets Manager, storage is encrypted, report buckets block public access, and databases stay on private networks. Workload permissions are limited to the resources each role needs.

The final protection also depends on your configuration, selected modules, AWS account controls, and operating agreement. Your security team can review the deployed environment and its responsibilities directly; no certification is implied.

  • Credentials protected inside your account
  • Private networking and encrypted storage
  • Limited access for every workload
  • Visible monitoring, retention, and recovery

Make ownership clear before it matters

Amazon reports and access change over time. The agreement makes ownership clear for missing periods, expired authorization, source changes, releases, and historical recovery. Your team controls the Self-hosted environment, with ClairInsights support defined in the contract.

With Managed Delivery, ClairInsights operates the agreed delivery path for you. Choose the model that best matches how your organization wants to own critical data operations.

FAQ

Questions your team may have

Is Self-hosted only for very large companies?

It is positioned for enterprise customers because they most often require infrastructure and credential control. The deciding factor is governance and operating fit, not a fixed employee count.

Does ClairInsights still provide support?

Yes, within the purchased license and agreed support contract. Exact upgrade, incident, and change responsibilities are documented for the engagement.

Do credentials leave our AWS account with Self-hosted?

No. Credentials remain in your AWS environment, and Amazon access stays limited to the accounts and roles you authorize.
